Castle 7x11 Synopsis

After being forbidden to work with Kate Beckett or the 12th Precinct, Castle obtains a P.I. license and shows up unannounced at Beckett's crime scene, hoping to investigate alongside her as a private eye. But things don't go as Castle had planned.

I had the same thought, but executive producer David Amann says that when the show revists that story line in an upcoming two-parter, "it isn't necessarily a function of him being a private eye." So what 5 cause Castle to think about hissing time? "The case he's involved with that has some emotional intensity .. brushes up against his experiences that occurred while he was missing," Amann says of a murder investigation involving Annie Wersching's 3XK disciple Dr. Kelly Nieman

Castle Book Annie Wersching for a Season 7 Encore 

It is confirmed that 24 alum, Annie Wersching, is set to reprise her Castle role, as ice queen Dr. Kelly Nieman, later this season.

According to David Amann, "She will definitely be resurfacing" as a tease part of TVGuide's Winter TV Preview Q & A.

Wersching first played the world's class plastic surgeon, who appeared to be a girlfriend and/ or a disciple of Castle adversary Jerry Tyson aka 3XK in the Season 6 episode "Disciple", which featured cosmetically altered Detective Javier Esposito and Dr. Lanie Parrish "lookalikes".
